About Me

Hi I'm April! I’m a comic artist and zine maker based in Leeds. I make comics about life as a trans person, aliens, vampires, luckless squires, weird little monsters and ugly medieval cats! My work explores themes of identity and determination against systems of oppression. I use comedy and fantasy to explore my ideas and have a passion for incorporating mixed media elements into my work including: air dry clay, lino printing, riso printing and photography. I sell my work online in my shop and in person at comic conventions, zine fairs and art markets.
